Max C. Meister AG
MAX C. MEISTER AG was founded in 1934 by Mr. Max C. Meister as an industrial representative. Over the decades, the company has established itself as a reliable partner in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT). The focus was on the two complementary processes of X-ray and ultrasound technology.
In the wake of increasing aircraft hijackings, the company expanded its activities to include X-ray equipment for hand luggage inspection at the end of the 1970s. As a single technology was unable to meet the ever-increasing security requirements, the security technology division was continuously expanded. This was followed by metal detectors, explosives detectors, endoscopes, and heartbeat detectors.
With almost 50 years of experience in the detection of weapons and explosives and over 90 years of experience in the field of non-destructive material testing, the company has made a name for itself as a reliable partner far beyond the Swiss border.
Our customers include international airports, MRO, ministries, customs authorities, prisons, international organizations, embassies, banks, and industrial and manufacturing companies in Switzerland and abroad.
The company has set itself the goal of representing renowned companies that manufacture high-quality, state-of-the-art systems and, together with us, guarantee the service life of the systems. It goes without saying that all systems are supported and maintained by MAX C. MEISTER AG throughout their entire service life. Together with our customers, we develop a comprehensive service package tailored to their individual needs.
Today, we stand on two equally strong pillars: non-destructive material testing and safety technology. At the end of November 2024, we celebrated our 90th anniversary and are currently in the transition from the third to the fourth generation. These figures and this continuity are the best proof for us that we have been consistently developing responsibility, quality, innovation, and customer focus since 1934. The generational change stands for long-term stability, lived values, and our commitment to continuing to carry this responsibility into the future.
