Spectrum 4-color imaging

The 928DX can now display images in both the classic 4-color and the new proprietary Spectrum 4-color option (SP4), which provide superior images and enhanced security through rapid and accurate threat identification and increased throughput.

Dual mode ZEFF

The new dual-mode Zeff function assists in accurate and rapid identification of organic materials, either in range mode, which highlights areas based on the operator-selected range, and/or in interactive mode, which provides the operator with the ability to display areas based on pixel value.

Explosives and narcotics detection

Target and NARCScan are designed to detect a wide range of explosives and narcotics, respectively, in real time during the scanning process by marking a potential threat on the X-ray image. The detection algorithms of Rapiscan® systems are based on officially approved material analysis methods.

Compliance with European aviation regulations

The performance of the 928DX fully complies with the binding Regulations (EC) No. 300/2008, (EC) Implementing Regulation 1998/2015 and update 815/2017, EC Implementing Decision 8005/2015 and update 3030/2017 for aviation security in the European Union.
