In the wake of increasing aircraft hijackings, the field of activity was expanded to include X-ray equipment for hand baggage control at the end of the 1970s. Since the constantly increasing security needs could not be covered with just one technology, the security technology division was continuously expanded. This was followed by metal detectors, explosive detectors, endoscopes and heartbeat detectors.

With almost 50 years of experience in the detection of weapons and explosives and over 90 years of experience in the field of non-destructive testing, the company has made a name for itself as a reliable partner far beyond the Swiss border.

Our customers include international airports, MROs, ministries, customs authorities, penal institutions, international organizations, embassies, banks and companies from industry and production at home and abroad.

Today, we stand on two equally strong pillars with non-destructive testing and security technology. At the end of November 2024, we were able to celebrate our 90th anniversary and are currently in the transition from the third to the fourth generation. These figures and this continuity are the best proof for us that we have consistently developed responsibility, quality, innovation and customer proximity since 1934. The change of generation stands for long-term stability, lived values and for the fact that we will continue to carry this responsibility in the future.
