Building on our many years of experience and expertise, the Metor 900M has been completely redesigned—from the software and user interface to the electronics and detection methods—to create our most advanced system to date.
Network expansion and communication function
The Metor 900M is fully compatible with Rapiscan Systems MetorNet 10, an Ethernet-based security management system that enables you to manage all your networked Metor walk-through metal detectors from a single location or via remote access using your internet-enabled device. The Metor 900M supports communication with various interface protocols, including Fast Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, infrared, RS 232, digital I/O, etc.
Integrated location indication and alarm lights
With 60 location segments, the system can indicate objects on the left, in the centre, and on the right. With multicolour LEDs and four multi-zone indicator bars that can be programmed as location indicators or ALARM LIGHTS, the Metor 900M helps operators quickly and easily identify the location of any objects.

Object classification
The Metor 900M’s object classification technology enables more accurate identification of objects than simply ferrous/non-ferrous metals. Based on the material’s precise electromagnetic properties and the shape of the object, the Metor 900M can quickly distinguish between threats and harmless items. This reduces the need for manual pat-downs and saves time and money.
