Radiation Detection

Metor® 6E can be integrated with radiation detection capability to combine multi-threat detection of both metals and radioactive materials.
The configuration allows for either gamma or gamma/neutron detection options and is available as a field-upgradable kit.

Adjustable Detection Zones

Metor® 6E features multiple independently adjustable detection zones to ensure uniform detection throughout the entire aperture.
The Metor® 6E incorporates unique multi-channel technology combined with powerful processing capability. This allows for rapid acquisition of information from multiple metal objects passing through simultaneously and accurate resolution of threats based on the characteristics of the items.
Metor® 6E is capable of achieving a throughput rate of over 50 people per minute, influenced only by individual operating concepts.

2-Dimensional Location Feature

The Metor® 6E features an integrated two-dimensional position indicator on the exit side of the coil panels. The indicator shows the location of the detected metal object(s) by localizing either the left, right, or center position of the height at which the object(s) passed through the metal detector. The position indicator has 20 vertical and 3 horizontal segments, resulting in a total resolution of 60 localization segments within the device aperture.
The position indicator has two user-selectable modes: 2-dimensional or vertical. In vertical mode, the vertical position of the detected item within the device’s aperture is displayed. The timing of the location display is adjustable, and the display can be activated or deactivated via the user interface.

Alarm Distribution Data

Enables deeper analysis of alarm locations and helps optimize the unit’s passenger flow.

Excellent Interference Immunity

The carefully selected operating frequencies combined with effective digital filtering provide excellent immunity to electromagnetic interference. Furthermore, the coil design of the Metor® 6E has been optimized to minimize external electromagnetic interference. Metor® 6E meets the requirements of applicable electromagnetic compatibility standards. Two or more Metor® 6E metal detectors can be operated in close proximity. Side-by-side application does not require synchronization cables.

Automatic Interactive Sensitivity Calibration

An automatic interactive sensitivity calibration function allows the detector’s sensitivity to be automatically selected for a specific test object. The user can simply start the “Auto-Sensitivity” function and walk through the device with each test object individually. At the end of the process, Metor® 6E displays the correct sensitivity level for detecting all items that passed through during this process. In addition, Metor® 6E features an automatic interactive ground sensitivity calibration program that supports ground-level calibration.

Automatic Frequency Search

Metor® 6E automatically searches for the appropriate operating frequency during commissioning or when the function is activated via the user interface. This function can be switched on or off.
