Z-903

Measures every element of the periodic table in seconds

Measures every element in the periodic table of elements – from Hydrogen (H) to Uranium (U).

Best Application

  • This extended range allows for the measurement of emission lines of the elements H, F, N, O, Br, Cl, Rb, Cs, and S. These lines cannot be measured with the other analyzers of the Z-900 series.
  • The extended measuring range has even more advantages. For example, a more sensitive line for lithium is measured at 675 nm to achieve detection limits in the range of 2-5 ppm.
It also measures a more sensitive and interference-free line for potassium (K). The conventional potassium lines have strong iron interferences, while the line used by the Z-903 is free of such interferences.

Bulk samples and microanalytics

The Z is the only handheld device in the world that enables on-site elemental microanalysis. The user can set up the grid in a grid pattern and use the 100 µm laser spot for spot elemental heat mapping. For bulk samples, the Z can be set to average the results from each grid position for a bulk sample result, just like with handheld XRF analysis.
