Phased-array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT)

SyncScan 2 is a 32:128PR PAUT flaw detector with optional 2-channel TOFD, which can improve your efficiency for PA and TOFD.

  • Lightweight: only 4 kg including battery.
  • Faster scan speed (approx. 3 meters/minute).
  • Removable electric fan: cools the system at high temperatures.
  • 1 or 2 ch-TOFD for your selection through license activation.
  • Supports UT/PA/TOFD, suitable for weld, forging, and sheet metal testing.
  • 32-channel PA is better suited for the inspection of particularly thick walls and highly attenuating material.
  • 32-channel PA and 2-channel TOFD work simultaneously in pressure vessel testing (TOFD can measure thicknesses up to 100 mm).
  • Supports Pitch and Catch (PR) mode, corrosion inspection with dual linear array probe.
  • System connections: encoder (supports biaxial encoding), SD card, USB 2pcs, VGA, Ethernet.
  • Probe connections: 4 connections for UT/TOFD probes, 1 connection for PA probe.
