The XR200 is a 150 kV battery-powered, pulsed X-ray generator used in security and industrial applications. Golden Engineering introduced the XR200 in 1997 as a replacement for THE INSPECTOR X-ray Model 200.

The XR200 X-ray generator is among the most frequently used tubes worldwide for police and military applications. All X-ray tubes are battery-operated. The X-ray tubes are characterized by a long service life and are easy to operate.

The same electronics, housing design, and battery pack as the XRS3 generator enhance the versatility of both models. A field-replaceable tube and modular concept make the XR200 easy to operate and maintain. The rugged single-package design withstands the extreme environmental conditions that portable X-ray generators are frequently exposed to. The generator is powered by a globally available DeWalt® battery pack. A pulse rate of 25 pulses per second makes it the fastest of all Golden Engineering models.
