Z-901
The world's first handheld analyzer, now even better.
Best Application
- General alloy testing for scrap sorting
- PMI/NDT
- Quality assurance
Connectivity and Android
The Z-901 features a completely new ergonomic design, a weight reduction to approximately 1.6kg, improved heat dissipation, and fully updated software and processing electronics.
The Z-901 also leads the way with the first-ever “Dual Burn” technology. Users can test with the 901 using either the air burn method or with argon purge when higher precision and lower detection limits are required.
A single spectrometer covers the wavelength range of 200 – 440 nm. The device is factory calibrated for a range of 15-20 elements, depending on the application. However, the user can also use the included Profile Builder software package to adapt the device to specific elements, their own calibration standards, and spectral processing. The Z-901 can be set to measure the emissions of all elements except Li, Na, H, C, N, O, Cl, Br, F, Ce, Rb, and S. Common factory-calibrated applications of the Z-901 include the analysis of alloys, mining, and environmental applications, especially beryllium in soil.
