The X-200 offers speed and performance comparable to or even superior to those of top-of-the-line analyzers from other brands. It uses a powerful SDD (silicon drift detector) in combination with a highly optimized X-ray tube and detector geometry. The X-200 is the first choice for scrap metal analysis and non-destructive testing. It combines speed and analytical performance with an ergonomic, small-form-factor design. It is fast with every alloy family, including aluminum alloys.
For geochemical applications, it offers a range of elements for environmental, pathfinder, exploration and mining purposes. Other available apps include environmental analytics, RoHS, precious metals, catalytic converters, coatings and the SciAps Empirical App for users who want to test other types of materials and create their own calibration models. Analyzers can be factory calibrated with basic parameters, Compton normalization (EPA method 6200) or custom empirical calibrations.

The X-Series is based on the Android platform for real-time data export and an intuitive user interface that is easy to read on a vibrant display, with switchable bright/dark mode for all lighting conditions.
