Golden Engineering introduced the XRS3 in 2001 for applications requiring greater penetration than the XR150 or XR200. When paired with various digital imaging systems, the XRS3 penetrates up to one inch of steel.  <\/p><p>The XRS3 is our most versatile device, offering exceptional penetration capability in a compact package. The compact design incorporates a battery, rugged glass tube, high-voltage head, and electronic controls in a single housing weighing less than 13 pounds. Operators can purchase spare batteries as needed, as the XRS3 uses the same commercially available batteries used for DeWalt&#8217;s cordless tools. The XRS3 features the same electronic controls and battery as the XR200, increasing the versatility of both models.   <\/p><p>The XRS3 has proven its ability to withstand extreme environmental conditions, such as arctic and desert environments.
