The X-550 features our patent-pending aluminum app. It sorts your aluminum alloys in 1 to 2 seconds, including alloys that differ only in magnesium content (Mg). Grades that either could not be sorted with other XRF devices or required minutes of test time, such as 3003\/3004\/3005, cast 356 and 357, and 2014\/2024, are just a few examples.
